A dream she’d had for many years. There was just one problem: this story had given her an idea, but no recorded recipe. Undaunted, Ruth disappeared into her kitchen and began sperimenting (a favorite word of hers). After weeks of trial and error, she emerged with her version of this early Colonial creation.
